Police appeal for witnesses following an RTC in Southport involving a bus and a pedestrian

Emergency services are currently in attendance of an RTC on Lord Street, Southport.

Officers were called shortly before 5pm this afternoon (27^th February) to reports that a collision had taken place involving a bus and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.

The North bound carriageway is currently blocked and road users are advised to avoid the area whilst we continue to deal with the incident.
